Roger's Philosophy

My Philosophy

Healing isn’t about erasing the past, it’s about transforming it. I believe that every fracture in your story holds meaning, and when we understand these pieces with compassion and clarity, they become pathways to being anchored, connected, and free from old survival patterns.

My approach is rooted in three core values:

Authenticity

I show up as a real human being. You get honesty, presence, and grounded clinical skill, not a distant expert behind a clipboard.

Creativity

Healing is an art. I integrate metaphor, trauma therapies, somatic awareness, values work, and creative expressive processes to help you access deeper layers of healing.

Compassion

I hold a steady, safe, nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are welcome, especially the ones you’ve learned to hide or outright reject.

Who I Work Best With

I work best with adults who want depth over surface-level solutions. My ideal clients are often:

• Trauma survivors (single-event, complex,
developmental, attachment-based)
• High-stress professionals (doctors, nurses,
therapists, first responders, leaders, business
owners)
• People navigating distress related to identity,
values, and major life transitions
• Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression,
burnout, and chronic overwhelm
• Helpers, healers, and creatives who give so
much they forget themselves
• People who feel “stuck” even after years of
therapy

If you’ve ever thought, “I know the skills, but something deeper still feels unhealed,” this work is designed for you.

What It’s Like to
Work With Me

You’ll experience a therapy space that is:

• Warm and compassionate, welcoming you with authenticity.
• Work rooted in your values, your pace, and your nervous system
• Deep, reflective, and transformative
• Moments of creativity and inspiration
• Focus on addressing the root, not the symptom

Clients often share that they feel understood in a way they haven’t before. My goal is to offer that kind of support while guiding you through the internal work that transforms your life from the inside out.

Why I Do This Work

Because I believe healing is possible for every person and that the most painful parts of our stories can become the most meaningful sources of strength.

I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the art and science of transformation. And time after time, I’ve seen that when people reconnect with themselves, they naturally reconnect with life.

This is why I’m committed to this work. Healing happens when your story is understood, your nervous system feels safe, and you reconnect with who you truly are. My role is to support you as those shifts unfold, helping you build a life that feels aligned and meaningful.

My Therapeutic Specialties

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

A structured, evidence-based trauma therapy that helps the brain reprocess disturbing memories, sensations, and beliefs. EMDR engages the brain’s natural healing mechanisms through bilateral stimulation, allowing stuck experiences to move toward resolution. It is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, phobias, and long-standing emotional patterns that feel “frozen” in the nervous system.

Parts Work (Internal Integration)

An approach that helps you understand and connect with the different “parts” of yourself—protective, wounded, adaptive, creative, and resourceful. Instead of fighting your internal world, parts work fosters compassion, clarity, and coherence. This process builds internal harmony, opening the door to healing patterns rooted in past experiences and unmet needs.

Values-Based Work (Values Alignment and Integration)

A focused, grounding approach that helps you reconnect with what matters most. By aligning your decisions and boundaries with your core values, you gain clarity, direction, and a sense of identity that supports long-term healing.

Brainspotting (BSP)

A powerful, neurobiologically informed therapy that accesses the deeper layers of the nervous system where trauma and emotional patterns are stored. Brainspotting allows us to work at the root- helping release what talk therapy alone can’t reach. It helps process trauma, emotional blocks, overwhelm, and long-held patterns.

Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM)

A deeply integrative, attachment-based model that uses layered resourcing to create profound safety in the nervous system. CRM helps clients access and process trauma without overwhelm by anchoring the body in connection, breath, attunement, and relational presence. It supports healing at the deepest levels—identity, meaning, and embodied wholeness.
